Stonehenge at Summer Solstice

This, I have decided, is now on my big life's to-do list. I think stonehenge is a phenomenal mystery and this seems cool. So, it is right there on the list right after cruise the Nile and see the Pyramids (which will be done on the same trip someday).

I have this dream of some day travelling and tracing the paths of human civilisation throughout the world. It'll probably never happen, or at least, if it does, it'll be in a more limited sense. I'd start in Africa and work my way forward, occasionally jumping sideways, but always learning and seeing. Stonehenge might be cool, but my heart is in Avebury, Coniston and the Scotish Isles....

I've been to Stonehenge, though not at solstice. Despite the fact that is is surrounded by highways it still evokes a strange sense of... um... reverence.
